Badge Of Pride is a Dallas-based LGBTQ+ public history nonprofit that lives at the intersection of history, art, activism, and culture. We collect. We exhibit. We activate.
Founded in 2022, we built our work on a collection three decades in the making: over 10,000 artifacts of LGBTQ+ history from around the globe — pinback buttons, protest posters, publications, and objects that carried meaning when it was dangerous to carry them.
We deploy that collection through exhibitions, oral history projects, performances, and community programs that don't just document the past — they fuel the present. Our work challenges stereotypes, honors the full spectrum of Queer experience, and keeps the historical record intact for generations who will need it.
